Talk to Me I'm Grieving
Loving and Learning Through Loss
Sharing stories, even difficult ones, unites us and gives us a better understanding of topics we may not know about firsthand.

My journey with my son's addiction and mental health issues led me to write Keven’s Choice in hope that it will help others by shedding light on the realities of mental health, suicide and substance use disorder.

There's still stigma associated with these common issues - and that's unacceptable. Kindness and respect go a long way in helping someone who's been treated "less than" for years. Let’s try to create a more compassionate world by choosing empathy.

"The highest form of ignorance is when you judge people by the labels you place on them."
- Martin Luther King Jr.

I've written my second book about how to support grieving people. The concept of grief is often misunderstood. There are platitudes and discomfort surrounding it. Talk to Me I'm Grieving helps to explain what real support looks like for many of us.

When we can rise above our own discomfort to show support for a grieving person, it's not only a gesture of compassion, but a reminder of the power of human connection."
