Thanks for taking the time to check out my writing!

Don’t let the title of my blog scare you away! My main focus is sharing what I've learned and observed from my son's death and his thirteen years of his heroin use, but I am passionate about a lot of topics and will be writing about whatever suits my fancy at any given moment.

For example - music, social injustice, my pets, writing, NHL hockey, books, relationships, growing up in the 60s and 70s, the list goes on!

I urge you to share your comments and thoughts in hopes that we can have some interesting discussions. Learning from others is my one of my favorite things in life, we're all so different, yet the same, I'd love to get to know you.

Also - I'm writing my first book about my life as Keven's mo! I'll be sharing a lot about that here too. It would be an honor to Keven and to me if our experiences could touch others in a helpful way.
